We've recently made some staffing changes:
Also, Policy Analyst, Derek Thomas has been promoted to Senior Policy Analyst. Since his time with the Institute, Derek has authored: Work Sharing: A Win-Win-Win Strategy to Avoid Job Loss; The Status of Working Families Report, 2011; and the upcoming report, The Cliff Effect: How Policy Design is a Disincentive for Economic Mobility. Derek has also created an innovative and effective media and outreach strategy, enhancing the Institute's online presence by modernizing the website and by improving our use of new media. We know he will continue to be an asset to the Institute in his new role.
Finally, Andrew Bradley has joined the team as a Senior Policy Analyst. Andrew comes to us with a wealth of policy experience, working as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs and also as a Health Policy Fellow with the United States Senate.
Today is Andrew's fist day and we're very excited to have him on our team!

As program manager, Jessica will oversee operations as well as set the policy agenda for the Institute. She will continue her work as the lead for Indiana's Skills2Compete Coalition in an effort to provide training/education for all working Hoosiers. She will also continue her outreach and education efforts to advance Indiana's Self-Sufficiency Standard.
